Christine Cook, Allied ASID
Founder and Principal Designer

From a young age, Christine knew interior design was more than a passion—it was her purpose. Over the past 15 years, her journey has taken her and her family across the U.S. and around the world. Each place added new layers to her understanding of culture, lifestyle, and design. No matter where she was, Christine remained devoted to her clients, continuously refining her skills, and deepening her perspective. Her work is defined by its balance of creativity and practicality, and she approaches every project with a fresh eye, tailoring each space to reflect the individuality and style of those who live there.

Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University and immediately stepped into residential design. She began her career in Iowa before moving to Louisiana, where she gained expertise in custom flooring and visual merchandising. In 2011, she joined a boutique interior design firm in Houston, quickly building a strong client base through her attention to detail and client-first approach. When her family relocated to Pittsburgh in 2015, Christine seamlessly grew her business, continuing to serve clients across the country. Even while living in the Middle East from 2018 to 2021, she remained fully engaged with her clients—proving that great design has no borders.

Christine founded EP Interior in 2021, and since then, it has grown into a thriving design firm fueled by Christine’s experience, passion, and dedication. Inspired by her two daughters, Emerson and Parker, and supported by her husband, Chris, she brings a personal touch to every project. Christine believes that great design isn’t just about aesthetics it’s about creating spaces that feel like home. She looks forward to welcoming you into the EP Interior family and bringing your vision to life!

Jordan Coursey, RID, ASID
Senior Designer

Texas State License #12448
NCIDQ 2018

As a native Houstonian, Jordan’s passion for Interior Design grew at a young age. Watching her mother sew draperies, faux paint her walls and shop for furniture; she learned how fun it was to transform interior spaces.

Jordan’s career began in 2010 after graduating from Texas State University with a bachelors degree in Interior Design. Her passion for residential interiors continued as she was able to assist on numerous large scale projects in Mexico and Central America. Over the years her experience has continued to grow as she works on numerous new build and remodel projects.

After passing the NCIDQ exam she became licensed in the state of Texas as well as a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She completes several hours of continuing education every year to keep up with the latest knowledge and trends. Jordan loves getting to know her clients and their families so she can ensure their spaces not only are beautiful but comfortable and functional. Her passion outside of design is being a supporting member of Compassion International, a Christian based child sponsorship ministry.

Desiree Gipson
Interior Designer and Director of Design

Desiree’s passion for creating beautiful spaces was sparked at a young age, inspired by summers spent shadowing her grandmother, a renowned designer with over 30 years of experience in New Mexico. This early exposure to design ignited a lifelong love for creativity and functionality.

She earned her degree in Interior Design from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and has since brought her talents to projects across the Greater Houston area. Desiree believes a home should be a true reflection of its owner—personal, unique, and full of character. Her ability to translate her clients’ personalities into stunning designs sets her apart. As a Director of Interior Design at EP Interior, Desiree plays a pivotal role in the team’s success. Known for her polished professionalism, calm demeanor, and exceptional design skills, she inspires those around her and ensures every project runs smoothly.

In her free time, Desiree enjoys immersing herself in live music, exploring Houston’s vibrant parks and diverse food scenes, and hunting for hidden treasures in antique shops.

Jessica Spencer
Design Consultant

Jessica is a native Texan who has lived a life full of dynamic experiences. She has always been adventurous of spirit, open to new and different creative ideas.

As a young girl, she could often be found moving around her mother’s furniture, decorating her sister’s room, or painting a wall in their home.

As an adult, her life, and specifically her design style has been influenced by nature and travel, including wonderful experiences in Thailand, Peru, Morocco, Bali and Ecuador.

Her travels have left an indelible imprint on her soul through their depths of culture, texture, textile, and meaningful art. While Jessica’s connection to nature and art is intrinsic to her style, her gift is in helping others to discover their personal story within functional design.

Jessica and her husband have settled in Houston and created a home together with their 3 year old daughter, Florence Lilian, a menagerie of pets and their treasures from their global adventures.

Hannah Vallery
Assistant Designer

Hannah’s passion for interior design was sparked by her travels, where she encountered spaces that deeply moved her. These experiences inspired a desire to create interiors that not only reflect culture and personality but also enrich the way people live and feel within them.

Her path to design school unfolded naturally. Drawn to courses in hand and computer-aided drafting, building systems, and furniture design, Hannah developed a strong technical foundation to support her creative instincts. During her senior-year internship at a commercial design firm, she gained hands-on experience in the full design process—from concept through execution. She earned her degree in Interior Design from Sam Houston State University and now brings her skills and passion to her role at EP Interior.

Hannah has a keen eye for layered textures, geometric balance, and elevated details that leave a lasting impression. Her goal is to craft spaces that not only function beautifully but also serve as personal sanctuaries for each client. In her free time, she enjoys planning travel to destinations known for their architecture, boutique hotels, and inspiring design.
